There are various devices for measuring metrological data they may be digital or manual but all gives data to predict the weather. A weather station needs many types devices to measure different factors of weather. They are wind meters, temperature meter, hygrometer, humidity meter, rain measuring instruments etc. So for a weather reporting various types of weather measuring instruments are required.
